ABOUT NOKUTHULA

Bio Nokuthula

Nokuthula Mampone is a ministry worker and a Christian counsellor. She has been involved in ministry for seven. Nokuthula has always had a passion to help people and serve those around her.

Nokuthula was born in the East of Johannesburg in a Township called Daveyton, where she was raised by her late grandmother and aunts. Like most families, they survived on her grandmother’s pension money. As business-minded as she was she started her first business in primary school selling sweets and continued to high school. From there she knew that she wanted to be a businesswoman. So she went to study entrepreneurship at the University of Johannesburg. That’s when she met a community of believers who shared the gospel with her. It was during this time when she gave her life to Christ and devoted herself to knowing Jesus as her Lord and saviour.

In 2013, after university, Nokuthula lost her mom, grandmother and dad in a short space of six months. This was a devastating time for her and her family, she began to question if it was worth continuing with life. She couldn’t imagine her life without her parents especially her grandmother whom she loved dearly. A friend recommended that she goes for counselling to talk to someone. As hard as it was the more she shared with others she began to feel like a weight was lifted off her shoulders.

That’s when she saw the importance of counselling. She went to study Biblical Counselling with Christian Counseling Educational Foundations (CCEF) in 2017.

Though Nokuthula pursued her career in counselling and ministry she never lost her desire to be a businesswoman. She has merged the two, to loved and serve her community.

Behind the name
